  Are you nucking futs? Love is only a by-product to bring in more people. What did they write:

  Neither must we yield to worldliness; the New World society of Jehovah’s witnesses must not let itself be overwhelmed by any worldliness that the inflowing “other sheep” might tend to bring in with them in their immaturity. Rather than let them change us into worldlings, we must help in their being changed to meet God’s standards. There is no place for a socializing “entertainment servant” in the New World society and its congregations. Spiritual interests come first and exclusively in Kingdom Halls. (w55 12/1 p. 735)

  Spiritual interests and "love for neighbor" are only defined in the context of proselytizing. Have a look:

  This includes taking full advantage of the spiritual food provided through the channel appointed to care for the spiritual interests of Jesus’ true followers. (Matthew 24:45-47) By such means, those who retain God’s Word in their hearts are motivated by love to “bear fruit with endurance.” (w99 11/1 p. 17 par. 11)

  normally i don't go in for these conspiracy theory ideas, but a comment by kurtbethel on another thread got me to thinking.

  might this latest dvd actually be proof that there are operatives inside watchtower hq who are deliberately sabotaging the society's material?

  didnt he give moses magical powers to prove to pharaoh that he was sent by jehooovah?.

  so maybe sparlock is jehovah's emissary..

  Exactly. If he is doing it himself or one of his croonies then it's all miracles. If Yang does it, then it's all considered black magic eminating from the dark side of the force.

  calab's mom is exhibiting some really psychopathic streaks in talking to him.. her facial expression is on the weird side of things.

  if that is the kind of talking to i would have gotten over the years, eventually i would have saddled up, lock and loaded - at best moved out of home at an early age.. .

  i`m just wondering if their stumbling from one disaster to another in their belated efforts to embrace modern technology , smart phones , the web, twitter , pc`s, you tube , social networking ,etc.etc.

  is really going to be their demise in the long run .

  i know they frown on higher education , but the gaffes they have made in recent years is getting beyond the joke.. ignorance can be excused to a degree , uneducated people can be excused to a degree, but plain stupidity, cannot !

  The celestial chariot lags behind; the universe is expanding and news reaching earth takes longer. Thus the shift from June '12 to September '12.
